First Fridays

Trainers from ITS Technology Outreach will be available to provide technical assistance with various campus supported applications which include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Zimbra, Dreamweaver, GeorgiaVIEW Vista, etc.

KSU faculty and staff are encouraged to take advantage of this free opportunity. No appointment is necessary to attend First Fridays, so if you have a technology question that needs to be answered, if you seek assistance with a particular application, or if you just need to use a computer, simply stop by during the times posted below on the first Friday of each month.

First Fridays schedule:

Group Training by Request

ITS Technology Outreach can provide customized training on a variety of software applications to your group. ITS trainers can hold sessions for an entire student academic class, upon request by the instructor of the course session, as well as for a department or smaller group. Subjects include the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook), Dreamweaver, GeorgiaView Vista, Wimba, and others.

The content covered can be modified to fit within the time constraints of one or multiple meetings. In most cases, the course instructor or group representative will need to arrange for a computer lab large enough to accommodate his or her group. Specific details can be coordinated with the ITS trainer.

For more information, please email itstechout@kennesaw.edu.

To request a training session for your group, please fill out our workshop request form.
