Authoring Tools

Translators and Editors:

HTML translation programs make it incredibly efficient to convert documents that have been published to HTML for the Web. For example, if you currently published a newsletter, brochure, or other document in Word on a Macintosh, you should use the RTFtoHTML translation program to generate the HTML version of that document. Provided that you are properly using Word Styles, it will take little effort or time to generate the HTML version.

HTML editor programs will allow you to create web ready HTML documents. Once your document is created in one of these programs, you can not convert it back to a normal text document - at least not yet.
