Adding Assignments

 
1. Click Build Tab and Basic View Tab
2. Click Assignments form under Add to Home Page
3. Click Create Assignment
4. Add a Title for the Assignment
5. Type in instructions for the assignment in the box - provided with HTML editor on or off (your choice)
6. If you want to attach a Word document, Excel file, Power Point or Text file, Click Add attachments, Upload your attachment file, Choose file, Save file and then Choose Add Selected
7. Decide whether you want students to submit text with attachments (typically a Word document or some other file attachment or a website)
8. Under Send Assignments to, decide whether you want to specify a group, all students or one student
9. Under Dates, select dates and times the assignment will be available
10. Under Grading, decide how much the assignment is worth
   
NOTE:
"More Option" allows students to make changes to the assignment after submitting. While you can no longer have multiple submissions in Vista the student can "take back" the submission for revisions.
You can no longer predetermine a start time for you assignment .
You now must hand change the Available = yes when you want the
assignment to be visible.
